The web series written, produced, and starred by Joaquín has participated in the SOUTH International Series Festival. The presence of “Desde el fondo” was twofold. On one hand, in the “Desde el Sur” section, which showcased six titles from Andalusia. On the other hand, in the “Lo próximo” section, which featured projects in development. Indeed, “Desde el fondo” began as a web series, but Joaquín is developing the project in other formats.
The web series, which has Cádiz C.F. as its backdrop, included in its presentation the presence of President Manuel Vizcaino, and his vice-president, Rafael Contreras, as well as the co-star Manolo Camacho, and part of the team like Sonia Serrano, Pepe Mata, Rafael Navas. After the screening, the entire team walked the red carpet.
“Desde el fondo” was filmed between January and June 2023, following the evolution of Cádiz CF during the final phase of La Liga. It narrates the protagonist’s conversion into a Cadista who is pursued by the mafia to whom he owes money, and tries to understand messages that his father sends him from beyond to help him.
